Attempt Burglary Near You -Scholemoor Road

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Scholemoor Road, this occurred on Thursday 21st May at approx. 1840hrs, unknown suspects have approached address from the rear and tried handles, as well as front door and tried the front doors before making off.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 1830hrs-1900hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
